My makeup wasn’t awful but I definitely battled with undertones, I’m light natural leaning warm but often gravitated towards regardless of the lightest color was for foundation, which finished up being more red/cool toned.

This will help the whole thing seem more 3d. Also, don’t try to be too perfect in this step. The more bumps and curves your hand advertisements to the trees, the more natural they’ll seem. Using the same principle, add thicker trees to the canvas. These should have more detailed branches and you may add some plays with light and dark here as well. I kept them more transparent yet. This is still not the center point of the painting and we don’t want to draw too much attention to these trees. The following pic again is a close-up shot.
See, still not perfect. Using black paint and a thick brush, I painted in two trees with branch detail. These are heading to be the focal points of the article. The black color is a kind of underpainting, to make the colour you placed on top than it pop, so to speak.
It’s the same theory as in make-up, when you cover the cover with a black color paintpot or kajal liner, to provide as basics for the color you put over it. Using black again and a fanatic clean, I further some lawn depth. You merely have to push down on the canvas with the fan brush to create that grassy effect, you don’t need to drag or swipe it.
Given, this uses up more coloring, but it gives a more sensible feel to the painting. You are able to just here stop. The black trees and grass look cool and give a different final result than what I went for. When the black is dry as well as your fan brush is washed, go over the grass again with greens, white and black. I dipped my brush into two or three colours at a time and dabbed it onto the canvas to produce grass with individual blades. Ignore the white on the branches, I needed some paint remaining and I didn’t want to buy to go to waste, so I slapped it on the tree.
